Dancer Delight

Well I feel minorly guilty about the fact that my first official post isn't technically about a designer. However I am completely enamored with this series by English photographer Samantha Taylor Wood. Well two series actually. The Suspended Self Portraits (Self Portrait Suspended V – below. I die. For real.) and her Chair series.

Of course one might argue that many photographers these days are also designers. My friend Oli (who actually is a photographer/designer) and I spent a while yesterday attempting to figure out how these were shot. We still have no idea. And maybe that's why they're so striking.

Seriously makes my dancer's heart go pitty pat. I want one for my very own.
