I'm working as we speak on my portfolio in a trendy coffee spot and listening to her while it pours rain out once again. Melodramatic & pretentious. Fun times – and the complete opposite of her music. Truth is this mega talented lady is one of those items on my backlog list that I've wanted to post for a while. So here she is.
Brought to my attention through a one-time friend (who at the very least had excellent music taste) of my friend Sasha, I fell instantly in love with her album. Starting with the art when the cover landed in my hands and moving right on to the lyrics and musicality of the entire disc. Open, honest and undeniably relatable. Bonus points for Sam working at one of our favorite adult beverage hangouts, which would makes her seriously awesome by association, if she wasn't already.

Words will only say so much in this instance. Make a trip to her MySpace page and prepare to be blown away. This is a girl who is going places, so keep an eye out.
